Job Title: Senior Oracle Fusion EPM FCCS Consultant – Financial Consolidation & Close

 Location: Remote

Duration: 3-6 months

 Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion EPM Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) consultant to support a large multinational organization undergoing significant chart of accounts restructuring and consolidation process optimization. This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle Fusion EPM coupled with strong financial accounting knowledge and proven consulting experience in complex, multi-entity environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Implementation & Configuration:

· Lead the design and implementation of chart of accounts changes across multiple business units and legal entities within Oracle Fusion FCCS

· Configure and optimize consolidation rules, elimination entries, and intercompany matching processes

· Develop and maintain dimension hierarchies, metadata structures, and mapping tables to support complex organizational structures resulting from acquisitions

· Design and implement automated consolidation workflows and approval processes

· Create custom business rules and calculations to support varying accounting standards and reporting requirements across jurisdictions

Financial & Accounting Expertise:

· Collaborate with finance teams to understand current and future state consolidation requirements

· Analyze existing sets of books structures and recommend optimal chart of accounts design for streamlined reporting

· Ensure compliance with multiple accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, local GAAP) across different subsidiaries

· Support the implementation of elimination and consolidation adjustments for complex inter-company transactions

· Assist in the design of management reporting packages and statutory reporting requirements

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

· 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion EPM FCCS implementation and configuration

· Expert knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud suite including Planning, FCCS, ARCS, and Narrative Reporting

· Proficiency in EPM Automate, Data Management, and Financial Reporting Studio

· Experience with SmartView, REST APIs, and Groovy scripting for business rules

· Strong understanding of EPM data integration patterns and best practices

Financial & Business Acumen:

· CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification preferred

· 7+ years experience in corporate finance, accounting, or financial systems consulting

· Deep understanding of consolidation accounting principles and elimination processes

· Experience with multi-currency, multi-GAAP reporting environments

· Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and financial controls

Consulting Experience:

· Proven track record managing complex EPM implementations in large, multi-national organizations

· Experience with companies that have grown through acquisition and require organizational restructuring

· Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

· Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

· Oracle EPM Cloud certification

· Experience with Oracle EBS or Fusion ERP integration to EPM

· Knowledge of additional Oracle Cloud applications (HCM, SCM, etc.)

· Industry experience in manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, or technology sectors

· Previous Big 4 consulting or Oracle consulting experience
