Position: Power BI Developer

Location: Newark, NJ – Hybrid (Onsite)

Need 10+ Years of Experience.

Job description:

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Gather and understand business requirements to translate them into functional BI solutions.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, Azure, etc.) and perform data modeling.
• Write complex DAX queries and calculations for customized KPIs and metrics.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) on data to restrict access for users.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
• Collaborate with data engineers and DBAs to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Perform unit testing and validation to ensure the integrity of the reports.
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, workflows, and report usage.
• Provide training and support to business users on using Power BI reports.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service).
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, etc.).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI administration and workspace management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
