Job Title : Business Analyst (C. Advanced)

Client : Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)

Duration: 6- Months

Location: Tallahassee, FL 32311 (On-site)

Looking for State Client Experience

Experience :  7 – 10 years 

Looking for Local Consultant.

Education Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field.

·         Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Required Experience & Skills:

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in business process and systems analysis

·         Strong proficiency with:

·         Process modeling tools (e.g., Visio)

·         Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·         SQL Queries and Data Analysis

·         Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (highly desired)

Knowledge of:

·         Data migration practices

·         Change & release management

·         Testing & QA tools and techniques

·         Florida Administrative Code (Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5) (preferred)

·         Agile project environment experience preferred

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Research and document FDOT business processes and system dependencies

·         Facilitate stakeholder workshops and joint analysis sessions

·         Gather/document business and technical requirements in Azure DevOps

·         Manage product backlog and user stories

·         Coordinate with developers and data migration teams

·         Develop test plans and coordinate QA activities

·         Review deliverables for compliance with departmental standards

·         Business Analysis: Modeling, process documentation, and use of BA tools

·         System Design & Analysis using structured methodologies

·         Facilitation: Lead stakeholder workshops and meetings

·         Technical Acumen: Strong grasp of IT infrastructure, SDLC, Agile

·         Project Management: Familiarity with PMBOK, Florida Rule 60GG-1

·         Microsoft Tools Expertise: SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, DevOps, Project

·         Certifications (Preferred):

·         Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
