DevOps Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
We are seeking an experienced DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role will prioritize CI/CD pipeline development, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and system administration to streamline and enhance our software deployment processes. A foundational proficiency in SQL and basic data management is expected, but the main focus will be on DevOps methodologies, maintaining infrastructure, and improving deployment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless application delivery.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to manage and provision cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Ensure robust system administration, including server management, monitoring, and optimization.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enable a streamlined build and deployment process.
- Support and improve the development and deployment environment to maximize productivity and reduce issues.
- Apply DevOps best practices for security, scalability, and high availability.
- Maintain proficiency in SQL for basic data operations and troubleshooting.
- Work with containerization tools and cloud platforms to support managed services and deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on system administration experience with Linux (preferably Rocky Linux) and Windows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and associated DevOps tools.
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and managed container services.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL for simple data extraction and queries.
- A proactive approach to automation, monitoring, and system efficiency.
