Job Title: DevOps with python Kubernetes, Cassandra Apache solr
Location – Sunnyvale, CA- Onsite
Hire Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Develop automation scripts and tools in Python to improve operational efficiency.
Manage and maintain containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters.
Ensure high availability and performance of distributed databases such as Apache Cassandra.
Optimize and maintain search infrastructure using Apache Solr.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack (infrastructure, network, application).
Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to support deployment and infrastructure needs.
Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Helm.
Maintain security and compliance of DevOps practices and environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong programming/scripting skills in Python.
Proficiency in Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker).
Hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra (data modeling, performance tuning).
Solid knowledge and practical experience with Apache Solr (indexing, querying, tuning).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, and system security.
Experience with source control tools like Git.
