Job Title :- Fundoo Cisco Network Engineer

Duration : 6+ month contract

Location: NYC – Manhattan

Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and implement Cisco-based network solutions tailored to meet the organization’s requirements.]
Manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other Cisco networking devices.
Perform network upgrades and troubleshoot issues related to Cisco hardware and software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with various applications and services.
Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary measures to optimize performance and mitigate potential risks.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and Cisco updates to enhance the network infrastructure.

Requirements:

10+ years of proven network engineering experience with a focus on Cisco technologies.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security solutions (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASA, etc.).
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and other relevant Cisco operating systems.
Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.) and network security principles.
Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
