We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Architect with expertise in designing and implementing native cloud solutions and generative AI applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will be responsible for architecting, optimizing, and deploying cloud-native applications, with a specific focus on leveraging GCP’s AI/ML services for generative AI projects. This candidate will bring a strong understanding of GCP services, AI infrastructure, and best practices in cloud architecture.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native architectures and applications on GCP, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
Architect and deploy generative AI applications, integrating GCP’s AI and ML tools such as Vertex AI, AutoML, BigQuery, and TensorFlow.
Develop and enforce best practices for cloud-native development, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), microservices, and serverless computing.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and product, to align on technical and business objectives.
Ensure that all designs comply with industry security standards and meet regulatory requirements.
Create CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for smooth deployment and monitoring of AI applications.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to other engineers and architects on best practices in cloud-native and AI architecture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years focused on GCP.
Proven experience with cloud-native application development and architecture on GCP.
Expertise in GCP AI/ML services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and AutoML, with hands-on experience building generative AI applications.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile environments.
Preferred:
Google Cloud Professional Architect Certification.
Experience with other AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX).
Familiarity with security best practices, including IAM, network security, and data protection.
