Position: Lead Java Developer

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

Need: Ex Comcast OR Telecommunication domain

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices.
• Participate in architecture decisions and contribute to high-level planning and system design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure continuous integration and deployment practices using CI/CD tools.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and support agile development processes.
• Monitor application performance and implement optimizations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience.
• Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture.
• Experience with ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Proficient in working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
