Role: Functional Project Manager – Supply chain / Logistics / manufacturing
Location: Cupertino / Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
JD:
Managing complex large-scale global projects involving worldwide and regional resources Aligning worldwide and regional teams to ensure onboarding process and technical requirements fulfill the needs of the various global teams.
Working closely with technical team to ensure delivery of the designed solution from development to testing to cutover and support.
Preferred to have additional language skills – Mandarin, Taiwanese, or Vietnamese.
Bachelor degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Technical understanding of enterprise software and especially integration technologies such as EDI, API, Web-services, FTP, web portals
Deep understanding of supply chain processes in the electronics industry – design, manufacturing, logistics, reverse flow
Experience in cross-functional portfolio and global program / project management and delivery to the level that they can set standards, propose policy, and coach others
Ideal qualifications:
Ability to align both business and technical teams and build trust among these teams
Superb communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to make and build internal and external relationships
Demonstrated talent to personally deliver large-scale initiatives under pressure with high levels of complexity and ambiguity
Passionate about manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics and driven to bring innovative solutions to challenging global supply chain collaboration models.
Ability to operate independently with conviction and drive teams to the right levels of quality in delivery even under pressure.
8 years+ experience working at the intersection of supply chain/logistics and technology coupled with project/program management experience Prior hands-on manufacturing/supply chain/logistics experience in the electronics industry and/or supply chain consulting experience
Experience in managing Asia and India suppliers/partners in an outsourced supply chain model Additional language fluency
Experience leading and developing talent
Preferred – Master degree in Business (MBA), Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Professional Certifications in Project Management (PMP) and/or Supply Chain (CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, SC Pro)
