Azure Data factory, Azure Data lake, Python, Data bricks/Spark

 

Oil and gas experience in preferred

 

Overview of Work:

Design and Migrate/Build the Data integration infrastructure, pipelines and jobs that move data from existing SoR applications/Data Products into and throughout the Chevron Microsoft Cloud environment leveraging Chevron’s common/standard integration patterns, tools and languages.

 

Technical Skills:

Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Brick, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage / Analytics

Python

Spark SQL & PySpark

Modern Data Warehousing

Data flow transformations

Implement and design data engineering and integration patterns: messaging, shared databases, file, service-based

Data security design – authorization, sharding, allocations, authentication

Database systems and large-scale processing systems

Consume and develop data-driven APIs

Knowledge in older integration and storage tools is beneficial (MS SQL Server, MS SSIS, IBM DataStage, etc.)

 

Soft Skills:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, & GIT for code management

Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) tool for work management

Practitioner of Agile/SAFe practices

Experience with Job Scheduling tools

Influencing skills and demonstrated ability to engage scrum team members   to achieve targeted outcome.

Ability to navigate and comprehend mapping documents
