Title-SailPoint Engineer

 

Location- Hybrid-Minneapolis, Minnesota

 

Client is looking for SailPoint Engineer Expert with below mentioned skills-

 

Responsibilities

Has to have a strong SailPoint background and certification. Will be working with coding, working with the group for controls and access. Working with PO to validate functionality, does it work? Need to understand everything out of the box. Supporting internal folks as well

 

Ramp up time

Could be a bit more than the IAM

 

Must haves

Targeting a mid-level engineer/developer so 3+ years of direct SailPoint experience and 5+ in IAM

 

Troubleshooting is a large part of this role. Whenever go lives takes place, have a list that pops up after going live activities. Being able to dig into those errors to find the source and come up with a solution to test that out is key

 

Someone who’s familiar with compliance standards, roles-based access is a must

 

Out of the box connector experience is key, but custom is also big as well

SailPoint 8.0 or higher 

 

Overview: 

Needs to have strong SailPoint Identity IQ background and certification. Will work with coding and with groups for access needs and controls. Will partner with archs and POs to validate functionality, make sure integration is working and what constraints we have. 

 

Ramp up time: 6+ weeks. We have a strong engineer and arch that can help them get up to speed. 

 

Must Have:

Mid-level dev with at least 3+ years of direct SailPoint experience (version 8 or higher)
5+ years in IAM 
Degree in Data science or similar
Troubleshooting is a large part of this role. Being able to roll up sleeves and figure out source of error and come up with a solution that gets flushed out to help us fix it ASAP is key.

Custom development is experience is a big one too. 
Red flags?Large gaps in resume that aren’t easily explained
Short stints (3-6 months) their projects are lengthy so it would be a culture/project shock
Prescreening questionsIf someone happens to have extensive experience with onboarding application activities, please list those integration efforts, the environments and whatnot out (workflows and application types)
Large buckets of work or release trains they’ve done
