DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION JOBS
Incumbent will serve as a program analyst and/or advisor to managers on the evaluation of effectiveness of government programs and operations and/or the productivity and efficiency of such programs. Positions require knowledge of the agency mission, policies, and objectives; management principles and processes; and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Some positions may require an understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs and objectives. The work requires skill in fact finding and investigative techniques; communications; and development of presentations and reports
Conditions of Employment
US Citizenship is required.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Successful completion of security investigation may be required.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
