Azure Cloud Developer

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance cloud solutions using Azure and Java.
• Develop and support Java-based services in Azure Kubernetes/Open Shift environments.
• Migrate on premise Java applications to the Azure cloud.
• Utilize Azure Cognitive Services, AI/ML, and other Azure capabilities to deliver intelligent, data-driven applications and dynamic websites.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle—design, code, test, troubleshoot.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to craft solutions for new initiatives and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and innovation.

  Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 2–3 years of recent, hands-on experience creating and managing Azure cloud solutions.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on
• Azure, especially within containerized environments.
• Experience with Open Shift and/or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of migrating monolithic Java apps to Azure.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Azure Event Grid, or similar messaging systems.

  Nice to Have:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
• Azure Developer Associate Certification.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Prior exposure to transportation/logistics domain a plus.
