💼 Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Python Developer/Lead to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, T-SQL, PL/PGSQL, Django, C#, and Docker. This role focuses on developing, automating, and integrating new features and workflows for our internal data platform using Docker, Apache Airflow, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines. This position requires an onsite presence in Bellevue, WA, from Day 1.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement new features and automation logic using Python, Django, and C#.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them into existing data platforms using Flask.
Automate manual deployment processes by developing new modules for CI/CD pipelines.
Build and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
Containerize services using Docker and integrate them into Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
Perform unit, integration, and functional testing of components to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
Write technical documentation (e.g., code, deployment processes, API specs).
Provide support during the First Office Application (FOA) phase, resolving issues and applying fixes or enhancements.
✅ Mandatory Skills:
Python and experience with data pipelines.
Experience with RESTful API development and integration (Flask).
Experience in CI/CD pipeline automation (GitLab).
Strong understanding of Docker and containerization for deployment.
🌟 Optional Skills:
BAN (Business Analysis and Notation) or domain knowledge.
Deployment experience in Docker containerization.
Experience in unit, integration, and functional testing.
Writing technical documentation (e.g., user manuals, deployment guides).
📝 Deliverables:
Source code for developed modules and services.
Automated deployment scripts and configurations (Docker, Git CI/CD).
Test cases and test reports.
Technical documentation as specified.
Support logs and resolution reports from FOA phase.
