🔹 Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

📝 Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and support end-to-end data solutions using the Microsoft BI stack and modern Azure data services. You will work onsite in Phoenix, AZ, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop data pipelines, and deliver analytics-ready solutions that support business intelligence and reporting needs.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
Build and maintain data warehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics
Create ER diagrams, relational models, and write SQL queries
Configure and deploy Azure storage services, including Blob Storage and Data Lake
Develop, test, and deploy SSIS packages and Power BI or SAP BI reports
Use Azure Databricks and Spark APIs for data processing
Work with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps for automation and CI/CD
Maintain referential integrity and database performance tuning
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable data solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in agile planning, and deliver on project milestones
✅ Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Azure Storage Accounts, Data Lake
Experience with ETL/ELT processes, SQL Server, and SSIS
Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, and relational database design
Hands-on with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and DevOps tools
Familiarity with Python scripting and Spark for big data transformation
Experience developing and deploying reports using Power BI or SAP BI
Strong understanding of PaaS/SaaS offerings, stream analytics, and cloud security
Proficient in C# and .NET (a plus)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills
