Profile: Amazon Connect Developer

Location: Whippany, NJ

Implementation Partner: Sogeti

Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Contact Flows: Create and maintain contact flows in Amazon Connect to meet the business requirements. This may include creating interactive voice response (IVR) systems, routing, and scripting.
Integration: Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services and third-party applications to enhance its capabilities. This may involve using Lambda functions, Amazon Lex for chatbots, or other services.
Customization: Customize Amazon Connect to meet specific business needs. Develop custom applications and features as required.
Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to contact flows, system performance, and integration with other services.
Monitoring and Reporting: Implement monitoring and reporting tools to track system performance and call center metrics. Analyze data to improve efficiency and customer service.
Security: Ensure that the Amazon Connect environment is secure and compliant with relevant regulations and best practices.
Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of the contact flows, configurations, and custom developments.
Training and Support: Train and support contact center agents and administrators on Amazon Connect usage and best practices.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as business analysts, customer service representatives, and IT teams, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in contact center technologies, including Amazon Connect.
AWS Certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer, is a plus.
Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud computing concepts.
Proficiency in AWS services, such as Lambda, Lex, S3, and CloudWatch.
Experience with software development using programming languages like Python, Node.js, or Java.
Knowledge of contact center best practices and industry standards.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Skills:

Amazon Connect development and administration.
AWS services and infrastructure.
Scripting and development skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Node.js).
Integration with third-party systems and applications.
Security and compliance best practices.
Monitoring and reporting tools.
