Role: DevOps/Analyst

Location: 701 West 51st Street Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid)

Client: HHSVisa: Any visa except H1B

Duration: 8-month Contract

Interviews will be conducted through Microsoft Teams

Job Description:

Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing.
Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS.
Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on AWS.
Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS
Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS
Build tools and processes to support the infrastructure
Share knowledge within the team
Required:

Experience with industry-standard tools for infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring, visualization, and alerting
Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming (TFS, PowerShell, Jenkins, Python, Ruby, Java).
Strong background in Agile Principles / Continuous Integration / Continuous Release
Experience of Public cloud AWS DevOps design and engineering & support experience
Strong experience in Configuration Management and Release Management
Preferred:

Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional engineering teams that incorporate software developers, QA, and product managers
Experience in best practices for optimizing IT infrastructure, providing policies, standards and guidelines
Certified on at least one: AWS DevOps Engineering, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
