Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays and Tuesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above
Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO Texas state only( Local to Texas Active DL must )
 Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.
Total EXP:12+ years must
Strong understanding and experience in fundamental programming and testing concepts within web-based UI applications is required.

Job Description
The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate web-based applications within HHSC IT Applications – Social Services initiatives. The role involves creating execution plans, prioritizing test scenarios, and ensuring application quality across various platforms such as TIERS, YourTexasBenefits.com, YourTexasBenefits Mobile App, and other social services systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, enhance, and maintain automated and manual test plans for web-based J2EE/Portal applications using Agile methodologies.
Participate in requirements analysis, test design, test data preparation, and application testing.
Perform software quality assurance, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
Develop technical and design documentation for automated testing processes.
Provide technical support during testing and implementation phases.
Collaborate with development, testing, and business teams to ensure requirements are met.
Participate in code and test walkthroughs, providing input on standards and requirements.
Employ modern testing methods to ensure defect-free, reliable software.
