Job Description:
The DevOps Engineer III is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes to support high-availability applications. This role involves collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient software delivery. The engineer will optimize system reliability, monitor performance, and lead initiatives to improve automation and infrastructure resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
Set up system monitoring, alerting, and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline build, test, and release processes.
Ensure system security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and support production environments.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).
Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation).
Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of system monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
Experience with version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent cloud certification.
Experience with security automation, CI/CD governance, and cost optimization.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management.
