Job Title 1: Mainframe Developer
Location: Frisco, TX (100% Onsite)
Type: : Long Term Contract
Roles and Responsibilities:
As an experienced Software Engineer working for our leading client, you serve as member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Depending on the team that you join, you could be developing mobile features that give our customers and clients more control over how they bank with the client, strategizing on how big data can make client’s trading systems quicker, creating the next innovation in payments for merchants, or supporting the integration of client’s private and public cloud platforms.
Mainframe:
- Good hands-on of Project Development using Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2
- ISPF command/Utilities
- We need to check what version configuration tool they are using(Knowledge on ENDEVOR)
- CICS(CICS with VSAM handling and CICS with DB2 handling)
- DB2(Cobol with db2 programming knowledge)
- File aid for db2 and file
- IOF OR SDSF
- Exposure on incident management/change request management tools.
- Scheduling tool(knowledge CA7, control-M)
- Exposure on any of the debugging tools for both batch and online environment(eg. Xpeditor, abend aid)
- Assembler
- Working knowledge on SCRUM model/JIRA handling
- Experience in doing impact analysis, design document creation, change release, deployment, monitoring and estimation.
- Complete understanding of SDLC cycle
COBOL:
- Working knowledge on Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework
- Awareness on Deploying COBOL Applications
- Command: Handson in ISPF command/Utilities and Scheduling tool ( CA7, control-M)
DB2:
- DB2(Cobol with db2 programming knowledge)
- File aid for db2 and file
- Working knowledge on Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework
- Awareness on Deploying COBOL Applications
Job Title 2: Mainframe Test Engineer
Location: Frisco, TX (100% Onsite)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Primary skills:
Mainframe
- Good hands-on of Project Development using Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2,
- Excellent experience in IMS DB or Assembler or PL1 or CICS
- Sound knowledge about Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM)
- Good analysis and problem solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex requirements and assist the team in creating designs.
- Test Data Management ensuring a high degree of test coverage and providing the right data, in the right quantity.
- Good to have intelligent data masking, data management practices and deliver end-to-end traceability of test data.
- Agile and DevOps integration, providing self-service data capability.
- Understanding of Data profile exercises and Refresh data where needed
COBOL:
- Working knowledge on Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework
- Awareness on Deploying COBOL Applications
Secondary skills:
QA:
- Working knowledge on Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework
- Awareness on Data Management and SQL skills
