Job Description :   
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Associate QA Director to lead our Quality Assurance (QA) efforts, drive process improvements, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, a deep understanding of QA best practices, and experience in managing high-performing teams. As an Associate QA Director, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align QA objectives with business goals and enhance the overall software quality framework.
Develop and implement QA strategies, standards, and processes to ensure high-quality product releases.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with their objectives.
Identify and manage changes to project scope, timelines, and resources, coordinating with the customer and internal teams to assess impacts.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to QA managers, team leads, and engineers.
Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
Identify and implement metrics & KPIs to track quality performance, test coverage, defect rates, release readiness and reporting.
Manage and develop a team of QA professionals, focusing on skills development, performance management, and career growth.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting innovation and knowledge sharing.
Oversee resource allocation and workload balancing within the QA team to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Participate in planning and design discussions to identify potential risks and establish preventive measures.
Communicate QA progress, results, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on quality goals.
Ensure that testing activities are thoroughly planned, executed, and documented for both manual and automated testing.
Oversee the implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies for continuous integration and deployment.
Evaluate and select QA tools, technologies, and frameworks to support efficient and scalable testing.
Experience working in Agile development methodology and fast paced delivery model.
Should be able to understand & execute test plans for Functional Testing, SIT & UAT.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
Candidate should have good communication skills and should be able to work in multi-vendor environment.
Experience in End-to-End testing life cycle.
Working experience on API testing using Postman / any other API Testing tool.
Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements.
Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes.
Knowledge in integrating the test framework & test cases with CI/CD tools (ADO, GitHub, Jenkins).
Knowledge in cloud environments such as AWS, GC or other similar platforms.
Good to have knowledge in automation testing with Playwright JavaScript / TypeScript.
Good to have knowledge in automation testing with Selenium-Java.
Working experience on API testing using Postman / Rest Assured / any other frameworks is desirable.
Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes for both new and existing products.
Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives with a focus on continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in software quality assurance, including advancements in automated testing, to continuously improve testing strategies.
Advocate for quality and user satisfaction throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that the final product exceeds customer expectations.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work seamlessly with globally distributed teams.
