Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead for a GL & Subledger Data Analyst role with overall experience of 12 to 15 years. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in PL/SQL, working with both Ledger and Sub-ledger data. The role demands excellent data analytical skills, as well as the ability to interact with end-users and senior business stakeholders effectively. Experience in handling and analyzing complex financial data, as well as an understanding of Snowflake, will be a significant advantage.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive data analysis and ensure data accuracy across GL and subledger transactions.
Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
Support and manage the Ledger and Sub-ledger systems, ensuring proper integration and data flow.
Collaborate with business users and senior stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure effective data solutions.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data-related issues in the GL and Subledger systems.
Ensure that financial data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with relevant standards.
Work with Snowflake data platforms for optimizing data storage, processing, and integration.
Deliver reports and dashboards based on data analysis to assist in decision-making and business strategy.
 
Required Qualifications:
12 to 15 years of overall experience in data analysis, with a focus on GL and Subledger systems.
Expertise in PL/SQL with hands-on experience in writing complex queries and data manipulation.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets, specifically related to Ledger and Sub-ledger financial data.
Knowledge of Snowflake data platform preferred.
Proven ability to handle end-user requests and effectively engage with senior business members.
Ability to work in a hybrid role, collaborating effectively with remote and in-office teams.
 
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with financial accounting principles and systems.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with other data platforms and analytics tools is a plus.
