SAP MDM Lead

Location : Plano TX

Lead end-to-end SAP MDM/MDG implementations, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Design robust data models and governance structures for master data domains (Material, Customer, Vendor, Product, etc.).

Develop and customize data quality rules, workflows, and validations using SAP MDG framework and BRF+.

Integrate SAP MDG with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems using Data Services (BODS), SLT, PI/PO, and APIs.

Drive data harmonization, enrichment, and de-duplication strategies leveraging SAP MDG and third-party tools.

Define and enforce master data standards, policies, and KPIs for quality, compliance, and governance.

Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align master data processes with enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Provide thought leadership on SAP MDM best practices, emerging trends (like SAP Data Intelligence, AI-based data cleansing), and roadmap planning.

Support data migration programs for SAP S/4HANA transformations using LTMC, LSMW, and SAP Data Services.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in SAP MDM/MDG consulting with at least 3 full-cycle SAP MDG implementations.

Deep understanding of SAP master data objects (MM, SD, FI, BP) and their impact across SAP modules.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

SAP MDG (central governance, consolidation, data quality)

BRF+, FPM, and Data Replication Framework (DRF)

Data modeling (Entity Types, Attributes, Relationships)

Data replication techniques (ALE/IDOC, Web Services, RFC)

Solid understanding of data migration tools (BODS, LSMW, LTMC) and integration approaches.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.

Excellent communication and consulting skills to engage C-level stakeholders and drive enterprise change.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration and greenfield/brownfield implementations.
