Role- Senior Data Scientist
Location- Locals/Driving distance to Peoria, IL area candidates only
Duration- 12+ months Hybrid contract (3 days onsite from day 1)
Visa- No H1B, OPT, CPT
Skills/Experience needed:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in data analytics, computer science, statistics, economics, marketing field with data skills with EXCELLENT communications skills
- 5+ years of experience as Data Scientist using Power BI including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) & Power Query, M-coding, Snowflake & SQL
- MUST have 2+ years of experience utilizing data science in a marketing environment
- MUST have experience in industry standard statistics, analytics, data visualization
- Ability to confirm deliverables associated with requirements analysis and communicate with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills – ability to communicate in a simple and clear way complex concepts and data. Enjoys interacting and collaborating with others with various cultural and professional backgrounds
- Experience with Designing and maintaining data systems and databases, including troubleshooting potential issues, Mining and cleaning data in preparation for analysis.
- Experience with Identifying integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals.
- Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy across the world to leverage regional development into our worldwide organization.
- Communicating insights with business teams and key stakeholders.
- Preparing reports which effectively communicate the Key metrics.
- Preparing strategic recommendations for process adjustments, procedures, and performance improv.
