Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Workspace Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing ITOM solutions using industry best practices, hands-on development, and integration expertise. This role requires a proactive individual who can design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement ITOM solutions leveraging industry best practices.
- Perform hands-on development tasks, including the creation, configuration, and customization of:
- Patterns
- Discovery schedules
- Probes
- Sensors
- Event rules
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with:
- Enterprise monitoring tools
- Application management tools
- Automation of alerts using OOB plugins and API methods
- Implement ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration use cases.
- Conduct third-party software integrations with ServiceNow.
- Design and modify ServiceNow components such as:
- Forms
- Workflows
- Scripts
- Transform maps
- Service maps
- Web services
- Inbound email actions
- SLAs
- Manage MID Servers to ensure seamless integrations and operations.
- Participate in multiple ServiceNow implementations and provide expertise in the deployment process.
- Work on implementing and configuring:
- CMDB Workspace
- CMDB 360
- Data Manager
- Configure KPIs as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in application architecture, infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud computing architectural principles, including:
- SaaS
- PaaS
- Multi-tenancy
- Automation
