Role: Lead Java Developer
Location: Deerfiled, IL (Hybrid) Nearby state relocation is workable
Duration: 12+ Months
Experience – 15+ years
Mandatory:
• Must have Skills – We need CVS Health background and CVS pharmacy
system experienced Candidate
• We need Lead with 15+ years’ experience.
• 10+ Yrs of Exp – Design, develop, and implement full stack solutions
using Java, Angular, and Azure(Strong experience with Java backend
development)
• 7+ Yrs of Exp – Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
• 9 Yrs of Exp – Azure DevOps (ADO), build/release pipelines
• 6 Yrs of Exp – containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a Plus
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and
cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Responsibilities:
• Design & Development: Architect, design, and implement full stack
applications using Java (backend) and Angular (frontend).
• Solution Architecture: Build robust, scalable, and secure solutions
while actively contributing to hands-on coding.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define technical
strategies and deliver business-driven solutions.
• DevOps & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best
practices for efficient software delivery.
• Azure Expertise: Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services for
application deployment, scalability, and security.
• Azure DevOps (ADO): Manage code repositories, build/release pipelines,
and work item tracking within ADO.
• Communication: Effectively convey technical concepts to both technical
and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong experience with Java for backend development.
• Proficiency with Angular for modern user interfaces.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proven expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
tools.
• Hands-on working experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Track record of designing and coding enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or
related field.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
• Experience architecting large-scale distributed systems.
• Prior experience working in Agile teams using ADO Boards.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
