Location: NYC, NY
Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports.

Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate
them into BI solutions.

Architect and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query.

Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security across Power BI environments.

Manage and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts.

Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server,
Azure, Excel, and APIs.

Implement governance, version control, and documentation standards.

Stay updated with Power BI features and best practices, and drive
adoption across the organization.

Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

10+ years of experience in BI and analytics, with at least 5 years in Power BI.

Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

Experience with SQL, Azure Data Services, and ETL processes.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proven leadership experience in managing BI teams and projects.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
