Job Description:
Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Java/J2EE Developer with strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Webservices to join their development team onsite in O’Fallon, MO. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing and building scalable, high-performing, and reliable enterprise-level applications using Java technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot and RESTful webservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements and timelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP webservices.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- This is a 100% onsite role in O’Fallon, MO.
