Job Summary:

This position has changed from SQL/BI Developer to Data Warehouse Developer 

Contract: 3-6 months to start, meant to be a longterm contract

MUST have very strong SQL skills and Data Modeling experience, please make sure they match all technical qualifications.
Data Vault experience is a huge plus but not required
Looking for a Sr. Level resource and work their way up to an architect level

Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Developer​. This position will be a full-time and remote contract opportunity. This project involves conversion of legacy data warehouse to a new architecture which includes Data Vault 2.0 and traditional Data Mart.

 
What You’ll Do 

Connect to new data sources
Explore data, model in the data vault and data mart
Configure and/or code data vault and data mart structures
Code complex stored procedures which implement business rules and load Fact tables
Convert complex existing report stored procedures from the legacy warehouse to the new one
Validate results using T-SQL; document all the differences
Troubleshoot code at all levels

Work with the report developers as they adapt to using the new warehouse
Individual will be on a very small team (2-3 people) and needs to be a self-starter who can quickly get up to speed
   
What You’ll Need 

Required:

6+ years of T-SQL development. Very strong T-SQL skills needed
4+ years SSIS experience required
·                     Strong database and data warehouse modeling experience

·                     Experience with Microsoft database projects (dacpac)

·                     Experience with DevOps

·                     Experience with Microsoft Access as a front end for SQL Server

Preferred

·                     Experience with advanced T-SQL such as dynamic code generation, recursion, Gaps & Islands desirable

·                     SSAS experience desired

·                     Exposure to Data Vault

Physical Demands 

·                     Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards 

·                     Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. 

·                     Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
