Position: Dynamics 365 Tech Lead 

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid) 

Interview Type: Web Cam and In Person 

Engagement Type: Contract 

 

 

Overview: 

VDOT is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Technical Lead with expertise in the Sales and Customer Service modules. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge in Microsoft’s Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse. This role will focus on customization, development, and implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions, as well as troubleshooting and support.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

– Lead the design, customization, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service modules.

– Manage full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.

– Develop and integrate solutions using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and C#.

– Troubleshoot and resolve Dynamics 365 technical issues and work with system administrators to implement solutions.

– Provide expertise on Microsoft Dynamics 365 licensing and governance.

– Create mockups/prototypes and offer innovative solutions to meet business needs.

– Function as a liaison between business units and IT teams.

– Contribute to process improvements within the Business Enablement Services program.

– Optionally, leverage DevOps in Power Platform environments for enhanced solution deployment.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience:

– 5+ years as a D365 Technical Lead.

– 8+ years of experience in managing Dynamics 365 Sales & Customer Service solutions.

– Strong knowledge of Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, Workflows, and Business Process Flows (BPFs) in D365.

– 5+ years of custom development experience using .NET, JavaScript, and C#.

– 3+ years of experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse).

– Experience with using connectors in PowerApps and Power Automate.

 

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

– 2+ years experience with DevOps in Power Platform/D365 environments.

– 5+ years experience with data integrations and migrations using SSIS packages.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

– Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

– Experience with process improvement and aligning procedures with agency priorities.
