Posting Summary: Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background specialized in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and possess advanced skills in T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Day to day activities include data management, source control (TFS/Azure DevOps, GIT), unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development and data integrity.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

             Some college preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline

             PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)

             Work in a hybrid office

             Willingness to learn

PowerBuilder Developer – Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data – Current experience 5 years

 

 

PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)

 

 

T-SQL Query Writing – Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database. Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data

 

 

Data Management – Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis. – 10 Years

 

 

Source Control – Must have experience working with source control technologies such as TFS/Azure DevOps, or GIT – 5 Years

 

 

Unit Testing – Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes – 10 Years

 

 

Documentation – Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams – 10 Years

 

 

Testing – Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios – 5 Years

 

 

Production Support – Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis – 5 Years

 

 

Change Management – Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes – 5 Years
