Job Description:
VDOT is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Tech Lead who is proficient in Microsoft’s Power Platform, including Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in delivering and maintaining Dynamics 365 solutions, customizing and configuring the system, leading the development efforts, and working closely with both IT and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, with a focus on Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service modules.
  • Customize, configure, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, adhering to best practices and governance policies.
  • Engage in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and design for Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Develop and maintain web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, and C# in conjunction with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Dynamics 365, documenting solutions and working with system administrators for implementation.
  • Provide knowledge on Microsoft licensing models for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • Develop documentation for platform usage, technical analyses, and provide guidance on governance approaches.
  • Prepare mockups/prototypes based on business requirements and suggest solutions leveraging Power Platform tools.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT teams to facilitate communication, log issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Assist in discerning between Dynamics 365, PowerApps, and Power Automate and suggest efficient solutions based on business needs.
  • Contribute to improving processes and policies for Business Enablement Services at VDOT.
  • Utilize DevOps methodologies within the Power Platform for enhanced solution delivery.
  • On-call support as necessary for after-hours work.
  • Support work-from-home environments and ensure the expected level of service.
