Job Title: Kubernetes Admin Location:- Bellevue, WA-14622 (onsite) Duration: Long term Qualifications:- - Kubernetes Administrator with strong knowledge in building and managing Vanilla Kubernetes or kubeadm based clusters.
- Extensive hands-on experience in managing Kubernetes control plane is mandatory
- Excellent hands -on experience in upgrading Kubernetes components like Istio, nginx ingress, cni components, outcold etc are mandatory.
- Should have experience with PVC in Kubernetes. Experience with portworx is preferable.
- Expected to have good experience on working in an environment with GitOps model.
- Expected to have worked in multi cluster environments with various type of applications
- CKA certification is preferable
- More than 8 years’ experience in IT industry.
- Expected to have played the role of Kubernetes administrator for more than 3 years.
- Strong knowledge on troubleshooting issues related to Kubernetes clusters including the issues related to control planes, ingress, worker nodes, deployments, PVCs etc
- Very strong communication and leadership skills are mandatory
- Knowledge in on-prem systems and virtualization like VMware will be an added advantage
- Scripting knowledge in Python and strong hold in Linux will be an added advantage
