Client:- Java API Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite)

Local candidates only. (In person client interview is mandatory.)

Job Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain  APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
– Implement data access layers using JPA, Hibernate, and ORM tools to interact with databases
– Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into efficient API solutions
– Implement API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and input validation
– Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
– Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and performance bottlenecks
– Stay updated with the latest API development trends and best practices
– Work independently, yet collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Basic Qualifications:
– 4+ years as a Java developer working on Java projects
– JAVA 17, REST Web Services, Hibernate-JPA/Spring Data R2DB, and Spring Boot 3.2.
– Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GITHUB, and Jenkins
– Cloud technologies, preferably AWS
– Designing, developing, and implementing APIs. The ability to work independently, yet collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, is crucial for this role

Education:
– Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
