Role: AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Role description:
4–6+ years in cloud platform engineering and networking technologies, with hands-on expertise in AWS and exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
Proven experience in platform operations, infrastructure automation, architecting/solutioning and cloud networking, not just application development.
Core Technical Skills
AWS Services: Deep knowledge and practical experience with EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM (including SSO and multi-account setups), VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Transit Gateway, and Control Tower/Landing Zones, System Manager, Security Hub, Config, GuardDuty/Rails, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc., Costing Explorer, Trust advisor.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in CloudFormation and Terraform for automated deployments.
Networking: Strong understanding of VPC design, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, GCP Interconnect).
Cloud Security: Familiarity with best practices for identity management, encryption, and compliance.
Database Services: Experience with AWS RDS and related managed database offerings.
Container Services: Kubernetes/Docker
Languages: Python, Bash, Shell
OS Administration: Rhel, Ubuntu, Centos
