Title: Data Architect

Location: Alpharetta, GA (5 days a week in office)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in designing and implementing modern, cloud-native data platforms on Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP. The ideal candidate will have strong data modeling capabilities, an in-depth understanding of Azure data services, and experience guiding the architectural roadmap for data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML use cases. This role is critical in enabling enterprise-wide data strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across systems.

Solution Delivery

Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions using Azure/AWS/GCP services.
Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and analytics teams to implement architectural blueprints.
Governance & Best Practices
Implement data governance, lineage, and metadata management using tools such as Microsoft Purview.
Enforce standards for data quality, security, compliance, and access control.
Establish best practices for data cataloging, version control, data lifecycle management, and DevOps for data.
 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data management.
3+ years of proven experience designing Azure-based data solutions.
Strong knowledge of:
Cloud-native data architecture (data lake/lakehouse/warehouse)

Data modeling (3NF, star schema, snowflake schema)

Azure/AWS/GCP Data Services

Real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture

SQL, Python, or Spark
