Business Analyst

Location: Onsite role in Tallahassee, Florida 

Visa: Must be GC or USC

Must be able to work onsite daily

Business Analyst to join our growing team in Tallahassee, FL

Key Responsibilities:

Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:Lead and/or assist staff in business requirements gathering sessions (JADs) daily as assigned by the Department.
Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and IT software developers to document business requirements daily as assigned by the Department.
Develop as-is, to-be, and other required business analysis documentation daily as assigned by the Department.
Develop and lead implementation of business process improvement recommendations daily as assigned by the Department.
Serve as a Scrum Master and head the scrum ceremonies daily as assigned by the Department.
Follow a standard set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts daily as assigned by the Department.
Manage the expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide regular briefings to Client Leadership daily as assigned by the Department.
Work independently as part of a larger cross-functional team daily as assigned by the Department.
Provide status reports and providing management briefings daily as assigned by the Department.
Correspond (verbally and in written formats) daily with project teams, internal stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status daily as directed by the Department.
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospective and review meetings as assigned by the Department daily.
Provide support and be on call during off hours, holidays and weekends daily as assigned by the Department.
DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY TASK:The Contractor, its employees, subcontractors, and agents must comply always with all
Department data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as specified in the Data Security and Confidentiality document attached to the purchase order.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS or directly related specialty field 
Eight years of experience working as a business analyst, communicating and working within cross departmental teams and end users.
Five years of experience using Agile Scrum methodology and experience with Azure Devops creating and managing Product backlog item
Eight years of experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, Workflows and AS-is/To-Be and Gap analysis
Eight years of experience coordinating business users, technical staff to help analyze and define future needs and operations based upon use case and analysis of alternatives
Eight years of experience with functional manual testing and writing test cases
Three years of experience with conducting scrum ceremonies and handling impediments
Eight years of experience and in-depth knowledge of financial systems and Budget Planning, Budget Amendments, Reconciliation, Budget Variances, Budget Management, Contract Management, Budget Allocation, cost estimations.
Ten years of experience with Microsoft Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel
Five years of experience with MS Project,
Three years of experience with Balsamic mockup tool, Qualys App Scan tool, QBR, SAP Crystal Reporting
Two years of experience working with Healthcare Industry and the associated security requirements
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) by Scrum Alliance
Five years of experience with ADA compliance, NIST policies, HIPPA
Three years of experience with SQL quires and understanding of relational database
