Role Descriptions:
OCI Windows Admin
Server installation and configuration| migrations| tuning| patching| administration monitoring as window admin
Do performance tuning| hardware upgrades| and resource optimization and ensure high availability of Windows VMs
Application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Configure/add new services as necessary.
Handling Certificate renewals| encryption | OS related security vulnerabilities along with remediation as per policies
Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs for cloud environments and deployments.
Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams| application development teams| testing and release teams
Active participation during migrations of applications| databases| BCP and DR Drills
Ensure all administrative procedures are followed. Maintain server uptime and its performance
Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs for cloud environments and deployments.
OCI Linux admin Installation| configuration and Migration of RedHatOracle Enterprise LinuxDisk and file system management
Sound experience in Linux LVMUser management
Package management and YUM configuration
Apply OS patches and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Configureadd new services as necessary
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusionsOS Hardening understanding
Perform ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization as required.
Basic Knowledge in Networking and Subnet.
Network management and troubleshooting
Should have knowledge of NFS| SSH| FTP| Send mail| NTP and DNS servicesIP Tables Firewalld
Experience in directory services like LDAP system
Experience in Shell Scripting and Ansible Automation in an advantage
Knowledge in pacemaker cluster administration is an advantage
OCI Network AdminVirtual Cloud Network Provisioning and Managing the Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs) Subnet Creation and Management Creating and Managing subnets along with configuring IP addresses | subnet masks and route tables
Network Security Groups Creating and managing the Network Security Groups and applying them to different VCNs and Subnets and Individual resources as applicable
Network Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting for different performance issues in network including packet capture and analysis
Network Optimization Optimizing network performances by configuring network settings such as MTU and TCP IP parameters
Network Scalability Scaling up of Network infrastructure to meet changing workload demands including adding and removing network resources
Network Integration Integrating Network resources with other OCI resources such as compute | storage and database services
Load Balancers Deploying load balancers| configuring backend sets| listeners and health checksOCI Cloud Admin Manage and operate Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments for enterprise workloads Administer OCI Compute instances| Block Volu
