Position: Data Platform Architect Snowflake

Description:
The architect in this context is responsible for ensuring that Snowflake is utilized effectively to meet the needs of the business, leveraging its features for data warehousing, analytics, and data sharing.
Key Skills:
Cloud expertise: Deep understanding of cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, since Snowflake runs on these platforms.
Snowflake Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, optimization techniques, and security configurations.
ETL/ELT tools: Familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, or Talend.
SQL proficiency: Advanced SQL skills for designing queries, optimizing performance, and ensuring data quality.
Data Modeling: Ability to design efficient and scalable data models for analytics purposes.
Security: Expertise in data security, user management, and data privacy regulations like GDPR, HIPAA.
Tools and Technologies:
Snowflake Services (Snowpipe, Data Sharing, etc.)
ETL/ELT Tools (Fivetran, Talend, Apache Airflow, dbt)
Cloud Platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
BI Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
Monitoring Tools (Datadog, Snowflake’s Resource Monitor)
