π Roles and Responsibilities
π Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and define technical requirements
π Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose technology-based solutions
π Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications
π Collaborate with developers, project managers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle
π Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed solutions
π Support testing efforts by creating test cases and validating solutions against requirements
π Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with cross-functional teams
π Monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements based on user feedback and data analysis
π Assist in the creation of user documentation, training materials, and user acceptance testing
π Ensure proposed solutions align with IT strategy, security standards, and business objectives
π Certifications and Qualifications Required
π Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
π Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) (preferred)
π Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus
π 3+ years of experience in business analysis within an IT environment
π Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
π Proficient in requirements gathering, process modeling, and workflow design
π Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills
π Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels
π Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Jira, Confluence, Balsamiq)
