π Roles and Responsibilities
π Lead and manage the IT department, including system administrators, technicians, and support staff
π Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals
π Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
π Ensure the security of IT systems, networks, and data through proactive risk management
π Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware/software
π Monitor system performance, identify improvements, and oversee major upgrades or migrations
π Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
π Provide leadership in crisis situations such as outages, cyber incidents, or major failures
π Coordinate cross-functional projects involving IT systems and digital transformation
π Develop IT policies, procedures, and training to support organizational growth
π Certifications and Qualifications Required
π Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required)
π Masterβs degree or MBA with IT focus (preferred)
π ITIL Foundation certification (required)
π PMP, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP certifications (preferred)
π 5+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
π Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity
π Proven experience in IT strategy planning and execution
π Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
π Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and priorities effectively
π Experience with vendor management and budgeting processes
