Requirements:
πŸŽ“ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
βœ… Proven experience as a VoIP Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting VoIP systems.
βœ… Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323) and communication platforms (e.g., Asterisk, Cisco, Avaya).
βœ… Familiarity with networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, DHCP) and Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic.
βœ… Experience with VoIP security practices, including encryption, firewalls, and securing communications.
βœ… Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to resolve issues effectively.
Nice to Have:
✨ Certifications in VoIP technologies (e.g., Cisco CCNA Voice, Avaya Certified, Asterisk Certified).
✨ Experience with cloud-based VoIP solutions (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone).
✨ Knowledge of unified communications systems and integration with collaboration tools like video conferencing and instant messaging.
✨ Experience in network design and implementing high-availability solutions for VoIP systems.
