Build & Release Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities
📌 Manage and maintain build, release, and deployment pipelines across multiple environments
📌 Automate build and release processes using CI/CD tools to improve delivery speed and reliability
📌 Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows
📌 Ensure consistent and reliable software releases across development, staging, and production
📌 Troubleshoot build failures, release issues, and environment discrepancies
📌 Maintain version control and branching strategies in Git or similar systems
📌 Monitor and enhance performance, scalability, and stability of the release infrastructure
📌 Document release processes, configurations, and environment changes

Qualifications Required
📌 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
📌 3+ years of experience in build and release engineering or DevOps roles
📌 Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI
📌 Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy
📌 Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies
📌 Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
📌 Experience working with artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Artifactory)
📌 Solid understanding of software configuration management and deployment strategies
