Jira Dashboards Developer

Overview:
We are seeking a Jira & Dashboarding Expert to support our client’s CIO team by developing dynamic, integrated dashboards in Jira. This individual will work within a Jira sandbox environment and collaborate with the IT Jira admin team to implement tailored, data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate brings both a technical and product-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand conceptual goals and turn them into actionable, visualized reporting tools that pull from Jira, Power BI, and Excel.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop customized Jira dashboards and portfolio reporting tools in a sandbox environment
• Analyze client requirements to determine what is possible within Jira’s capabilities
• Act as a strategic advisor—recommending best practices and creative solutions for reporting needs
• Collaborate with the Jira admin team to move dashboards from sandbox to production
• Integrate and visualize data across Jira, Power BI, and Excel
• Provide job aids, documentation, and training sessions to support adoption

  Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert-level proficiency in Jira dashboarding and reporting
• Deep understanding of Jira’s capabilities and limitations in data visualization
• Ability to think creatively and translate conceptual goals into technical solutions
• Strong experience integrating data from Jira, Power BI, and Excel into unified dashboards
• Product mindset with a proactive approach to identifying the best tools and methods
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
