🔹 Job Title: Principal Embedded Software Engineer
📍 Location: Minneapolis, MN (Locals Only – Onsite Interview Required)
🕒 Duration: 6+ Months C2H (No conversion fee)

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware/software development (C/C++).
Proven experience leading full-cycle firmware development – from inception to market launch.
3+ years working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Experience in regulated industries (preferably high-hazard, life safety, or SIL2 environments).
Strong foundation in Embedded System Design and regulatory requirements.
Experience implementing diagnostics and algorithms (e.g., MATLAB-generated).
Proficient with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools such as Git, Tessy, Coverity, and Black Duck.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead software architecture & planning for embedded products ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance.
Own requirements capture and justification for regulated products.
Work closely with hardware teams to define integration strategies and diagnostics.
Manage and maintain DevOps toolchains ensuring traceability and compliance.
Serve as Agile Product Owner for firmware development efforts; act as liaison with stakeholders.
Enforce adherence to development processes, lead technical reviews, and ensure coding standards.
Develop unit test plans using various embedded debugging tools (IDEs, emulators, logic analyzers, etc.).
Track progress using metrics and dashboards; identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
