📝 Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and big data engineering to help design, build, and optimize data-intensive cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who excels at building scalable systems, mentoring teams, and leveraging AWS services for advanced data processing and analytics.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services including Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, EMR, and Step Functions
Build and optimize big data pipelines using Apache Spark and AWS Glue
Write and maintain efficient, reusable Python code for backend and data systems
Architect highly available, secure, and scalable AWS solutions
Collaborate with DevOps to implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK
Follow and implement cloud security, cost optimization, and monitoring best practices
Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and mentor junior engineers
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in all sprint ceremonies

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services
Strong proficiency in Python (automation, backend, or data processing)
Experience with Apache Spark, preferably on AWS EMR or Glue
Solid understanding of serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway) and containerization (ECS, EKS, Docker)
Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Knowledge of cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, VPC, security groups)
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS)
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
