📢 Job Opening: Business Analyst – Investment Operations (Wires Management)
📍 Location: New York City, NY (Onsite 3 days per week)
🕒 Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Investment Operations and Wires Management to assist in advancing the technology capabilities of the Middle Office and Controllers businesses. This individual will collaborate with stakeholders in the Investment Operations function, lead projects, and ensure successful development, testing, and implementation of business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
-Work closely with Middle Office Operations professionals to gather and document business and functional requirements.
-Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions and ensure alignment with business needs.
-Develop and maintain project plans, risk matrices, and issues lists to ensure successful project execution.
-Create comprehensive test cases and participate in development and QA testing.
-Effectively communicate with stakeholders and foster strong relationships.
-Assist with analyzing middle office platform processes and contribute to the ongoing development of the technology strategy.
-Ensure SLAs and key metrics are met or exceeded.
-Identify best practices for optimizing system use both internally and externally.
-Act as an escalation point for support issues and work towards permanent resolutions.

Experience Required:
-12+ years of full-cycle experience in SDLC methodologies (business requirements gathering, functional specifications, development, testing).
-8+ years of experience with C#, Python, SQL, and Excel Macros.
-Experience with wire management platforms; IVP Cash Master is strongly preferred.
-Experience with systems that manage SSI for wire transfers, generate SWIFT messages, automate cash settlements, and enable straight-through processing.
-Knowledge of payment processing and SWIFT message formats (MT1XX, MT2XX, MT9XX).
-Strong background in Business Analysis methodologies and use case modeling.
-Deep understanding of middle office functions and credit instruments (Bank Loans, Bonds, Derivatives, etc.).
-Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
-Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment and handle multiple active projects.

Educational Requirements:
Advanced degree from a top university is strongly desired.
