About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Prompt Engineer to join the growing AI team within a leading asset management firm.
This role will be critical in designing, refining, and optimizing prompts for large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4, driving intelligent automation, advanced research, and enhanced client-facing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and iterate high-quality prompts to optimize LLM performance across internal business use cases.
Collaborate with product, data, and business teams to translate complex financial or operational requirements into effective prompts.
Analyze model outputs to identify and implement improvements in prompt design or data input.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in LLM capabilities and industry trends to foster innovation.
Document prompt engineering strategies, experimental findings, and best practices for internal use.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of financial concepts or prior experience in banking/finance (preferred).
Familiarity with Python, APIs, or AI/ML workflows is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Must be willing to work onsite at the New York office.
