📝 Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Python Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of cloud-native, scalable data solutions while mentoring engineering teams and ensuring alignment with business goals. This is an onsite opportunity in Michigan.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, cloud-native software solutions using Python and AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.)
Lead architectural decisions and technical roadmaps aligned with business strategies
Mentor and guide software engineering teams; promote coding best practices through code reviews
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and Program Managers
Translate business requirements into robust and secure technical implementations
Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data architectures for large-scale data processing
Utilize Power BI for reporting, analytics, and business insights
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks using AWS monitoring tools
Drive CI/CD and DevOps improvements using tools like CircleCI
Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and development trends
Ensure effective sprint execution through active participation in Agile ceremonies

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

5–6 years of software engineering experience, including backend and cloud development
Expertise in Python, with knowledge of C++, Node.js, or Golang as a plus
Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.)
Solid understanding of software design principles, microservices, and distributed systems
Proficiency in ETL processes, data pipelines, and handling large-scale datasets
Experience with Power BI for visualization and analytics
Familiarity with data system architectures at scale (e.g., Twitter-scale environments)
Hands-on knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, CircleCI)
Ability to perform deep performance analysis and system optimizations
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities in cross-functional teams
