Job Title: Software Developer
📍 Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
💼 Max Rate: $40-45/hr on C2C
📋 Job Description:
We are looking for a Software Developer with experience in Middleware Applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in building highly scalable services (SOAP and REST), modern Spring Framework technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. If you have experience with API/web-based services and a knack for creative problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
🛠️ Responsibilities:
Code software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers.
Standardize quality assurance procedures for software.
Oversee testing and develop fixes for issues.
Perform various tasks under general supervision to accomplish goals.
Monitor and maintain operational readiness of Middleware Applications hosted in AWS cloud.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements to deliver enhanced functionality and/or simplify system administration.
Facilitate and develop plans for application changes, including defect fixes, enhancements, and/or configuration changes.
Configure and test changes to system including reports, security access, and workflow.
Perform/Coordinate configuration changes to the production environment.
🧰 Required Skills:
Middleware Applications experience.
Strong skills in building scalable services (SOAP and REST).
Spring Framework expertise, including Spring JMS, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Integration.
Experience building modern REST Web services.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Ruby (a plus).
API/Web-based services consumption experience.
Knowledge of HTTP and TCP/IP.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and coach other team members on coding practices, design principles, and implementation patterns that lead to high-quality, maintainable solutions.
Ability to identify opportunities for system enhancements and facilitate plans for application changes.
🎓 Preferred Qualifications:
AWS cloud hosting experience.
Experience with configuration management in production environments.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
